Creating a Life Worth Living Teacher-Training Certificate Program

Whether you are a coach, therapist or career counselor who wants to expand your practice, or or a passionate Creating a Life Worth Living graduate seeking a creative new career, the Creating a Life Worth Living Teacher-Training Certification Program offers a rare opportunity to learn a brilliantly practical approach to guiding clients toward their vocational and creative dreams.

Based on the popular workshops that launched the best-selling book Creating a Life Worth Living, this unique certification program trains qualified applicants to lead Creating a Life Worth Living workshops, and offers access to the Creating a Life Worth Living nationwide network and referral system. For those who are passionate about working with artists, entrepreneurs, and other people who incorporate creativity into their careers, this training offers a proven process to help people reach their potential.

The 4-month intensive program will teach the CLWL form and principles, as well as train participants to work both as group leaders and one-on-one coaches. The course will be conducted through weekly tele-classes, online forums, emails and private telephone consultation. The program will conclude with a written and oral certification exam.

The Life Worth Living Teacher-Training Program will be conducted by Laura Sari Geduldig, a certified Life Coach and Life Worth Living Instructor. The core curriculum has been developed by Carol Lloyd the author of the book. Carol will lead key parts of the course and be an overall support and resource for the program.

Specifics about the CLWL Teacher Training Certification Program

Course Dates: The course will be four months beginning in September and ending in December, 2009. The final oral and written exam will need to be completed no later than February, 2010.

Course Format: This will be a weekly one hour tele-course held on the phone and led by Laura Sari Geduldig. We are excited about this format since it will allow people from all over the country and outside of the US to participate in the certification program without any additional travel expenses. We have not yet determined the day of the week or time of the weekly call. We are planning taking input from the group as to what will work best for everyone’s schedule. The calls will also be recorded in case someone needs to miss a week and listen to the session later.

Curriculum and Teaching Approach: The curriculum for the teacher training was developed by Carol Lloyd and will help you learn the program from the inside out. Based on years of experience from both Carol and Laura, this certification program will teach you the most effective ways to lead the course. The certification program will be a balance of experiential learning,  sharing ideas, readings (both the CLWL book and additional readings), supervision and feedback on leading workshops and one-on-one client session, personal support based on your needs and specific training on marketing and business models that will help to set you up for success.

Application and Selection Process: To apply please call Laura at 510-339-8111 and send an email to laura@gotherecoaching.com to request an application. Once we receive and review your application we will set up a telephone interview. The course will be limited to 10 participants, selected from a nationwide pool.
