Creating a Life Worth Living Teacher-Training Certificate Program Whether you are a coach, therapist, or career counselor who wants to expand your practice, or someone seeking a creative new career, the Creating a Life Worth Living Teacher-Training Certificate Program offers a rare opportunity to learn a brilliantly practical approach to guiding clients toward their vocational and creative dreams. Based on the popular workshops that launched the best-selling book Creating a Life Worth Living, this unique certification program trains qualified applicants to lead Life Worth Living workshops, and offers access to the Life Worth Living nationwide network and referral system. For those who are passionate about working with artists, entrepreneurs, and other people who incorporate creativity into their careers, this training offers a proven process to help people reach their potential.
Author Carol Lloyd has led workshops in the Life Worth Living process for the past 12 years, helping hundreds of individuals live the creative life they had dreamed of. Since Creating a Life Worth Living was published in 1997 (Harper Collins), Lloyd has lectured on creativity and the arts at a host of public and private universities and professional organizations including San Francisco State, Berkeley Theological Union, UC Berkeley, Yale, Wesleyan, Columbia, Barnard and NYU School for the Arts, training deans, counselors, theologians and students. Her weekly San Francisco Chronicle column was a winner of the 2002 Excellence in Journalism Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. Laura Sari Geduldig, CPCC, is the founder of Go There! Coaching, an instructor at JFK University, and a certified Creating a Life Worth Living instructor. Laura received her training from The Coaches Training Institute, with its world-renowned, year-long leadership program. She specializes in working with artists and entrepreneurs who seek fulfilling yet sustainable creative careers and is currently in her 6th year of private practice as a Life Coach and workshop leader. She has presented her programs at the International Coaching Federation conference and was recently hired as an expert Life Coach for Fitness Magazine. The 4-month intensive program will teach the LWL "form" and principles, as well as train participants to work both as group leaders and one-on-one coaches. Two weekend retreats, one at the beginning and one at the close of the program, will take place on the Russian River, 90 minutes from the San Francisco Bay Area. The Russian River is a destination in and of itself, boasting ancient redwood forests, a gorgeous coastline, wine country, and a multitude of outdoor activities (click here for more information). The rest of the course will be conducted through weekly teleclasses, online forums, emails and private telephone consultation. The program will conclude with a written and oral certification exam in December 2006.
The Life Worth Living Teacher-Training Program will be conducted by Laura Sari Geduldig, a certified Life Coach and Life Worth Living Instructor, and author Carol Lloyd. Program will be limited to 15 participants, selected from a nationwide pool. |
